Dr. Tim Zeigler is from Tampa, Florida, a medical Gulf War veteran who has completed a
Chemistry B.A. at the University of South Florida, followed by a Doctorate in Optometry at
Nova Southeastern University College of Optometry in Ft. Lauderdale. He completed
internships at Liane Downtown Eye Associates, Macdill Air Force Base, and at Nova
Southeastern University College of Optometry. In July 2000, Dr. Zeigler completed a
residency in Primary Care/Ocular Disease at the Braverman Eye Center. As a Board Certified
Optometrist, Dr. Zeigler continues to practice primary care optometry, worked eight years as
an Attending Optometric Physician to the resident and interns at the Braverman Eye Center,
and is an active member of the U.S. Air Force Reserve to serve as Chief of Primary Eye Care
Services at Homestead Air Reserve Base. His scope of practice includes comprehensive
examination in primary care optometry, hard to fit soft or rigid gas permeable contact lenses,
optical dispensing, and the diagnosis, management, and treatment of ocular disease. In
November 2007, Dr. Zeigler relocated his practice to Zeigler Family Eye Care in Fort
Lauderdale, Florida. He is a member of the American Optometric Association.
